People & Places
Welcome to People and Places - the two themes of the Photography of Keith Cocker.
Keith Cocker has been taking photographs for over 40 years. His photography is focussed on places and people and reflects his interest in landscape and the past. His photography is strongly influenced by his appreciation and knowledge of fine art, particularly English Landscape from the eighteenth-century watercolourists to the twentieth-century neo-romantics. He admires the photography of the French humanists and has been much influenced by the work of English photographers such as Edwin Smith, John Davis, Tony Ray-Jones, Fay Godwin and Humphrey Spender.
He primarily uses Medium and Large Format Film cameras for his work.
